We understand the importance of fostering a love of the art of pole dancing amongst our younger generation and are passionate about providing them the platform to explore, develop and perform that artistry on a professional stage.

Salt Dance Company is the leader in Pole Dancing Competitions for Kids. Beginning junior pole dancing programs in 2014, Salt Dance Company has continued to develop safe dance practice for our students with professionally trained staff. Salt Dance Company staff have a wealth of knowledge and experience in teaching and catering to young people. Our staff continually engage in professional development practices to ensure we offer junior pole dancers the very best there is. 

In 2016 Salt Dance Company's founder, Lily Salt, recognised a need in the industry to offer a professional platform for junior pole dancers to perform. Understanding the stigma that can surround our industry, the needs specific to young people and with a wealth of experience from her degree and experience in teaching (12 years high school dance and welfare teaching, 6 years teaching pole), Lily developed Grass Roots Pole Dancing Championships.

As we continue to grow, we are introducing more opportunities for juniors to perform and compete in front of industry professionals and elite performers, providing access to quality feedback, production and performance experience in a nurturing and safe environment.
